From my Local Arboretum

I took this since I've returned home. Nothing spectacular, but I certainly can't encourage everyone else to post without posting myself. :)

Lake Huron Dusk

Hello all. Trying to keep the flow going here - tried the Freeman fixed tripod exercise on our bank overlooking Lake Huron last weekend - this was one of the hundred or so I made, and so far the only one remotely worth posting - oh well, practice makes perfect.

Cheers,

Great work, Mark

Thanks for doing this - the birth of a great idea.

I didn't like the idea of the multiples when I first heard about them at the workshop. And now I can't stop making them.

Here's one, far from perfect, from the meadow in front of my sister's house outside Sackville, New Brunswick.

Cheers.

I'm so glad we have this chance to keep in touch. I'm still trying to put together a quote that will even come close to expressing what I felt last week with you all during the workshop. Well I've been out shooting twice this week between trips around the field helping my husband cut the hay. Been experimenting with photoshop and I'll present you a couple of images. Take care all ... hope to hear from you soon! Shaun

Welcome

I've created a blog where we can all share images and ideas.

Here is the image I sent for the book and poster along with my quote.

"Seeing, in the finest and broadest sense, means using your senses, your intellect, and your emotions. It means encountering your subject matter with your whole being. It means looking beyond the labels of things and discovering the remarkable world around you."

- Freeman Patterson
