One of my favorite places to visit is Martin Head. It was an abandoned logging community in the 1960s and most signs of human habitation have disappeared. The salt marsh and river estuary have captivated my interest in paintings and photography for the past few years. The old crib work that held the log booms is one of the few signs of human habitation. I'm drawn to them like old ghosts from the community and I keep looking at them and wonder what stories they would tell.

Shaun,
I've been meaning to comment on these four images for some time. I really enjoy them.
Clearly your artist sense for composition is not lost in your picture making. :)
I could hang any of these on my wall, all producing different feelings for me.
