I've tried to do this several times--but this is the first time it worked! I took these early one late September morning as the sun rose over a little lake in Manning Park. Would love some comments, critiques. I was amazed by how dark the lake looked in the images.

These are lovely abstractions, Lesley - great lines. Glad you're posting!
Thanks, David. I think the first two work better than the third, perhaps because they are more simple, but I'm not really sure. People have made comments about how the first reminds them of a certain part of female anatomy!
Lesley I love all three of these images. We just started getting frost here about a week ago, we had an unusually warm fall. Winter is not to far away now
I suppose you are back to work, I've been watching the news and thinking of you! We had a rough spring here in NB with work to rule.
Thanks, Shaun. Yes, school was in session today. I've been through work-to-rule as well, and in some ways (except financially, of course) I think it is more divisive than a strike. Work to rule always puts those whose passion is sports, or theatre or extra help for students against those who are willing to give those activities up (or whose main passsion is whaterver goes on in the classroom). In any case, it's over and everyone, especially the government, was astonished at the huge groundswell of support that came from the public. The public will most certainly be watching what happens in terms of class size and composition over the next several months. We're not getting more money in our pockets, and are still about $11,00o behind Ontario teachers, but there were a number of positive things that came out of the job action. But, thank goodness it's over!!
