wide angle spring

I "discovered" the wide angle lens in Freeman's garden this summer and told myself that I should use nothing else for a period of time. Well, the best laid plans...... Anyway, I did use it in Victoria last weekend (except for some close-up shots of shooting stars with my macro) and here are some of the results. Two birds with one stone as the librarian at our school asked for photos of blossoms for a display. The two blossom shots have been "ortonized". All were taken in Beacon Hill Park in Victoria.

Lesley - I've been meaning for ages to compliment you on these inviting images - procrastinating until I can come up with some incisive technical remarks.

Now failing those, let me say how envious this Central Canadian is of your lotus-eating climate. Your images make us want to get to the same place to see if we can create such compelling things to look at.

Going through a photo drought right now but will get back here as soon as poss.

Cheers.
