Hi Shaun - in my amateur opinion, there's an incredible range of light in this image, from the water and the shadow on the cliff, to the sky - did you manipulate those clouds in Photoshop? This is soooo Maritimes, makes me miss it.

Cheers.

David,
I just did the basics in photoshop...contrast and brightness,it seemed ok so I left it like that. I've been shooting apple blossoms and it's much harder than it looks...I really like the ones you posted!

Hi Shaun-
I agree with David's comment and also think that it applies to the image below. It's really nice to see more of your work--both because it's good and because it, particularly the two images of the cliffs, brings back memories of the week we spent together.
We went to the Palouse area of Washington state at Easter--once I get time to get myself organized I'll post a couple of them.
Cheers.

Lesley... so great to hear from you and thank you for your comments. I look forward to seeing your Washington photos! I would love have a reunion of our group sometime...June is almost here and I can't wait to work at photography and painting on a much more disciplined schedule.

Best Regards!
