Broken group foggy morning

At the end of August we did a 6 day kayak trip in the Broken Group (part of Pacific Rim National Park) on the west coast of Vancouver Island with some friends from Ottawa. Foggy mornings, but great weather; saw orcas, humpback whales (one 20 ft. from our kayak!), sea lions and seals. This was taken from our campsite on the beach of the island that is one of the closest to Japan, just before we got into the kayaks for the day's paddle. There's a bit of flare, but it does capture the feeling of the morning.

Lesley - this is quite lovely - solid masses in the foreground with dreamy subject matter beyond. Nice to see you back.

Cheers.

Thanks David. I was a bit disappointed with the way it posted when I see it on my workplace monitor. On my monitor at home it is far lighter, with more detail in the foreground and the fog looking less grey. Calibration is such a headache. Do you use any calibration software?

I don't use any calibration software except some very basic stuff that comes with my Windows program (I think that's what it's for - little pictograms, trying to get patterns to disappear etc.) - and I'm never sure if I'm using it right anyway - but it's sometimes appalling to think how the image ends up looking on somebody's else's screen, isn't it!
