Winter Retreat

It is inspiring to see the pictures everyone is posting so here are a few I took yesterday at our cabin. Ah March Break it is here at last!

Haven't been doing alot of photography lately, but I do post recent "stuff" on windyleagallery.blogspot.com

Had my first solo show of paintings at the Fundy Gallery of Art in Saint John last month, it went well and was a positive experience!
Hope to hear news and see photos soon!

Congratulations on your show.

Please let me know if you ever have another one, as I might be in the area now that I live in NS.

Love your blues. Fabulous!

I really like the ambiguity of the top one--I know it's snow, but change the tone and it's sand and ripples.
Congratulations on your fist show! Wow, I don't know how you find the time to do all that you do!
Cheers,

Hi Mark and Lesley, thanks for your comments. It's nice to know you and your family are back home in the Maritimes...I can't believe your baby girl is now a "Sticker Queen" mine is 19 but still a sticker fan.

I don't have a clean house nor do any real cooking....that's rule #1, though I do break down and do laundry on occasion. Anyway how do you have time too ...my head spins thinking about 16 teenagers in Japan. Have a wonderful adventure Lesley!

Hope to see more from you soon!

I've also really cut down on the "real" cooking--and the less said about the state of my house, the better. There are just so many hours in the day, and more important things to do. One of my goals, once I retire (at the end of this June), is to get my house in some sort of order. On the other hand, I spent an hour photographing some flowers the other day.
Cheers.
